National Stigma and Discrimination Reduction Strategy Draft Consultation

VMIAC is holding a consultation on the National Mental Health Commission’s draft National Stigma and Discrimination Reduction Strategy to address mental health-related stigma and discrimination on January 25th from 3:30pm-5pm.

The draft Strategy draws n existing evidence, research and collaboration with people with personal lived experience, families, carers, support people and other stakeholders from diverse perspectives. It presents a long-term vision, and proposes actions by governments, industry and the community, across sectors and settings, to reduce self, public and structural stigma and discrimination experienced by people with personal lived experience, their families and support people.
