The new Mental Health Act is coming in Victoria, following on from the Royal Commission.
The big changes are already locked in by the Royal Commission, but this is a critical time to try and influence the details of the Act, to uphold and protect our rights as much as possible.
VMIAC – Victorian Mental Illness Awareness Council have brought Indigo Daya and Vrinda Edan onboard for this project to try and get as many consumer/survivor voices as possible.
Your responses in this survey will be used by VMIAC in advocacy for a better Mental Health Act.
We’ll be running focus groups soon too, so stay tuned for news.
